Disinfection and Sanitation
Procedures to protect the health and safety of the consumer and technician. Proper disinfecting of instruments and equipment.
Color Theory
Skin analysis, color swatching, the gray scale, color correction, shade and undertone identification, and use of the color wheel.
Fundamentals of Foundation
Product knowledge, principles of application and blending, various textures for different skin tones and types.
Preparing the Canvas & Face Shapes
Cleansing, skin analysis, client consultation, identifying face shapes, points of correction, highlighting and contouring.
Eyebrow Beautification
Identifying parts of the brow, shape, length, and product knowledge for covering and enhancing brow shape.
Fundamentals of Blush and Lips
Product knowledge, identifying points of application, correction, shaping, and re-shaping.
Fundamentals of Eye Shadow
Product knowledge, different eye shapes, points of application, daytime, evening, and glamour looks.
Eyeliner Applications
Various eyeliner techniques and application methods.
Bridal Makeup
Building bridal business: contracts, pricing, advertising. Working with brides, bridal parties, and different conditions.
