International School of Beauty is committed to providing a safe learning environment for all students, faculty, and staff. In compliance with the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 (VAWA), we have established comprehensive policies and procedures to address domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
We take all reports seriously and are dedicated to supporting survivors while maintaining a campus free from violence and discrimination.
Domestic Violence
A felony or misdemeanor crime of violence committed by a current or former spouse or intimate partner, by a person with whom the victim shares a child, by a person cohabitating with the victim, or by any other person against an adult or youth victim protected under domestic or family violence laws.
Dating Violence
Violence committed by a person who is or has been in a social relationship of a romantic or intimate nature with the victim. The existence of such a relationship is determined based on the reporting party's statement and consideration of the length, type, and frequency of interaction.
Sexual Assault
Any sexual act directed against another person, without the consent of the victim, including instances where the victim is incapable of giving consent. This includes rape, fondling, incest, and statutory rape.
Stalking
Engaging in a course of conduct directed at a specific person that would cause a reasonable person to fear for their safety or the safety of others, or suffer substantial emotional distress.

As a victim of these crimes, you have the right to:
- Report the incident to school officials and/or law enforcement
- Receive assistance from school personnel in notifying law enforcement
- Decline to notify authorities
- Receive information about available support services
- Request changes to academic situations if reasonably available
- Have the incident investigated and adjudicated by the appropriate officials
- Be informed of the outcome of any disciplinary proceedings
- Be protected from retaliation for reporting
